Incorporated
in 1996, Advantage Valley was created by the
most forward and progressive thinking
individuals in the Huntington-Charleston
region. The purpose of Advantage Valley is
“to achieve collaboration and cooperation in
the marketing and advancing of the region of
Advantage Valley in such a manner that
complements roles and responsibilities of
existing organizations, avoids duplication
of effort and leverages the attributes and
opportunities within the region for the
benefit of the entire region.”
The Advantage
Valley region includes eight counties in
West Virginia, three in Kentucky and one in
Ohio. The regional map includes counties
along the I-64 corridor between Charleston,
WV and Ashland, KY.
Membership in
Advantage Valley is open to any business,
educational institution or non-profit group
interested in growing the economy of the
region by leading cooperative initiatives.
