Joint Legislative Committee
Sen. Mike
Hall (R-Putnam) cited Advantage Valley
efforts during a joint session of the House
and Senate Economic Development committee.
Sen. Hall participated in an Advantage
Valley fact-finding trip to Kentucky last
year where results of the state’s Science
and Innovation Act were studied in
Louisville and Lexington. The fact-finding
mission also included official briefings by
state officials at the State Capitol in
Frankfort.
Sen. Hall
suggested that the West Virginia Department
of Commerce could work with Advantage Valley
to coordinate future meetings with other
similarly successful economic development
organizations.
